News Release Ricoh invests in mental health technology company Intellect through the RICOH Innovation Fund Ⅱ Supporting workplace well-being as a driver of creativity and exploring future collaboration

TOKYO, September 15, 2026 – Ricoh Company, Ltd. today announced that it has invested in Intellect Company Pte. Ltd. (Co-founder and CEO: Theodoric Chew, hereinafter “Intellect”), a Singapore-based company providing a mental health platform for organizations, through its corporate venture capital (CVC) fund, the RICOH Innovation Fund Ⅱ.

As companies increasingly recognize that their people are a key driver of sustainable growth and competitiveness, employee well-being and mental health have become important management priorities. With more diverse ways of working and increasingly global workforces, employees face complex mental and physical health challenges, increasing the need for mental health support worldwide. At the same time, a global shortage of professionals providing such support is making it increasingly difficult to meet these needs. Organizations therefore need to go beyond conventional approaches, using digital technologies to provide mental health support tailored to individual needs, from prevention and early intervention to ongoing care.

Through RICOH Innovation Fund Ⅱ, Ricoh has identified “Unleash creativity” as one of its major investment areas and is promoting investment in and collaboration with startups. Based on its belief that physical and mental well-being is an essential foundation for people to perform at their best and unleash their creativity, Ricoh invested in Intellect.

Through this investment, Ricoh will support Intellect's business growth while deepening its understanding of mental health and well-being. As the first investment through RICOH Innovation Fund Ⅱ, the partnership will also explore opportunities for future collaboration, drawing on Intellect's expertise in individual and organizational well-being and Ricoh's workplace insights and data developed through its Workplace Experience business.*1

Intellect provides a comprehensive mental health platform for organizations, offering a broad range of support, including self-care, coaching, counseling and workforce well-being analytics. Its strengths include a real-time aggregated dashboard that provides visibility into workforce well-being and multilingual and multicultural capabilities that enable support for employees across diverse working environments and cultural backgrounds. Intellect's services are available in more than 100 countries and over 120 languages, serving more than 4 million users worldwide.

Eiji Suzuki, General Manager, Corporate Planning Center, Corporate Planning Division, Ricoh Company, Ltd. stated, “As organizations around the world adapt to evolving ways of working, supporting employees' mental and physical well-being has become essential to unlocking their creativity. Intellect has built a comprehensive platform and deep expertise and extensive data capabilities to address these challenges at scale, making it a compelling partner for Ricoh. Through this investment, we look forward to exploring how Intellect's expertise and Ricoh's workplace data and insights can help create workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”

Theodoric Chew, Co-founder and CEO, Intellect stated, “Mental health support needs to work for people across different languages, cultures and levels of need. We built Intellect to make that possible, combining technology with access to professional care. Having Ricoh as a strategic investor brings valuable workplace expertise alongside a shared belief in the importance of employee well-being. We look forward to exploring how we can bring effective mental healthcare to more organizations and the people who power them.”

Ricoh will continue to promote open innovation through RICOH Innovation Fund II and accelerate new value creation through collaboration with startups. Through these efforts, Ricoh aims to bring Fulfillment through Work and contribute to a sustainable society.
