Infomation Ricoh establishes Ricoh Group Data Governance Policy

TOKYO, February 4, 2026 – Ricoh today announced the establishment of the Ricoh Group Data Governance Policy, a foundational guideline designed to ensure responsible data utilization and strengthen data governance across the Group.

As Ricoh advances its transformation into a digital services company, innovative digital technologies, including generative AI, continue to evolve at a rapid pace. In this environment, companies are increasingly being held accountable not only for the safety and convenience of their digital services, but also for their impact on users and society.

In addition to ensuring the secure management of data entrusted to Ricoh by its customers, the Ricoh Group emphasizes service design and operations that take ethical, legal, and social issues (ELSI) into account. To enable customers to confidently harness digital technologies, Ricoh is committed to responsible data utilization. As a foundational guideline supporting this commitment, the Ricoh Group has established the Ricoh Group Data Governance Policy.
