Ricoh Recognized by CDP as a Leading Company in Climate Change Disclosure

TOKYO, November 6, 2015 — Ricoh Company, Ltd. has been recognized as an outstanding company in the Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) through CDP, the international NPO that drives sustainable economies. This time, for the second consecutive year the third time of the recognition, Ricoh has scored 100 points in the disclosure score, which indicates the level of information disclosure. Being selected as CDLI means that Ricoh comprehensively discloses information: the calculation and management of emissions, climate change strategy, and the process and the results of risk management.

Ricoh actively takes measures to prevent global warming, with a target of an 87.5% reduction in carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions (compared to the year 2000) in the total lifecycle of the Ricoh Group by 2050 under the 2050 Long-Term Environmental Vision. As for the disclosure of information regarding environmental management, which aims to simultaneously achieve environmental conservation and profit.

Ricoh also endeavors to provide accurate environmental information that is useful to all stakeholders in a fair, comprehensible, and sustainable manner. Ricoh will continue to proactively strive to accomplish environmental conservation and information disclosure meeting the expectations of all its stakeholders.
