Q1.: Though recently Ricoh indicated it would buy back its own stock, it has not happened yet. In this fiscal year the dividend payout ratio will reach the company's target of 30%. Does this mean there is no need for a buy-back this fiscal year?
Q2.: Target for FY operating profit has not changed compared to the previous year. As minus elements such as production problems last year disappeared, why don't you revise upward this fiscal year target?
Q3.: The performance of the 1st quarter of last year was not very impressive, why is net sales of Office Imaging business decreasing even more this year?
Q4.: You plan to improve profitability for the second quarter compared to the previous year. What is the background for this?

Q1.: Though recently Ricoh indicated it would buy back its own stock, it has not happened yet. In this fiscal year the dividend payout ratio will reach the company's target of 30%. Does this mean there is no need for a buy-back this fiscal year?
A1.: We strive to create cash and while doing other necessary business investments, we do consider buy-backs. In this sense our policy remains unchanged.

Q2.: Target for FY operating profit has not changed compared to the previous year. As minus elements such as production problems last year disappeared, why don't you revise upward this fiscal year target?
A2.: First of all, we would like to achieve \140 billion of operating profit.

Q3.: The performance of the 1st quarter of last year was not very impressive, why is net sales of Office Imaging business decreasing even more this year?
A3.: As the sales activity volume was down because of a production problem last year, the number of deals in the pipeline decreased compared to normal. But the situation is improving from June.

Q4.: You plan to improve profitability for the second quarter compared to the previous year. What is the background for this?
A4.: Mainly special demand for PCs etc. last year will decrease this year, while the sales share of high profitability products will be higher.
