We have set an ambitious goal for reducing total CO₂ emissions by the end of fiscal 2010, a goal seeking reductions surpassing those called for in the Kyoto Protocol.

Aiming to maximize resource productivity, we are undertaking resource conservation and recycling activities globally, with primary focuses on limiting discharged matter, reducing water consumption and reducing paper consumption.

From a risk management perspective, we strive to reduce the use of chemical substances and emissions and to prevent any related pollution.
