Ricoh's Interactive Whiteboards with a high-resolution display enable high-quality, smooth handwriting and easy remote image sharing. They can be used in a variety of settings, from work groups to corporate boardrooms to enhance productivity and cost-efficiency.
The IWB is ready to use immediately, with no software installations. In addition, administrative settings can be programmed remotely. You can display data saved on your computer, iPad, tablet or smartphone on the whiteboard using a VGA or HDMI cable to start working on digital projections and interacting with others in a workplace or school setting. You can also operate a networked computer from the whiteboard, display content from a USB stick or view DVD via the HDMI connection. The IWB fits on a wheeled stand that is easy to assemble and move around in the workspace.
Ricoh's Interactive Whiteboard enables disparate teams to work together on documents.
You can share written content with up to eight IWB units connected via the intranet: no need for separate server/software installations. In addition, up to 20 computer or tablet users can join to view an interactive session via the browser remote viewing capability.
The IWB can also be used as a display for Ricoh’s Unified Communication System or other videoconference systems, while simultaneously sharing the contents on its screen.
The user interface is easy to quickly learn and manipulate. With touchscreen convenience you can write, draw, edit, erase, move, resize and save. Using your fingers you can highlight a key area on the screen, flip through pages, and zoom in and out. Screen content can be shared via email as a PDF file, instantly saved to USB memory, or printed to a networked Ricoh MFP/printer. Pages and screenshots can be selected and captured, copied or deleted.
You can write, scribble or draw with the Interactive Whiteboards’ handy electronic pen, which offers 20 colors and four thicknesses and incorporates an erase function. Writing feels very natural. The latest technologies ensure that every annotation is captured efficiently. The device also supports OCR recognition, with the OCR content saved as searchable text for handily reviewing scribbled notes and comments.
