September 30, 2022

TOKYO, September 30, 2022 – Ricoh Company Ltd. today issued the English editions of the Ricoh Group Integrated Report 2022, Ricoh Group TCFD Report 2022, and Ricoh Group Circular Economy Report 2022.

Ricoh issued four reports* this fiscal year in response to today's growing interest in ESG investment and the expectation of greater information disclosure to share detailed information, such as the Ricoh Group's medium- to long-term outlook, overviews of initiatives aimed at improving corporate value, and specific initiatives and data related to the environment, society, and governance.

Ricoh will continue to increase the Company's corporate value by raising the quality of its management and promoting corporate growth while actively disclosing information and inviting a heightened understanding of the Ricoh Group.

ESG Data Book was issued in Japanese and English at the end of August.

Ricoh Group Integrated Report 2022

The Ricoh Group is endeavoring to become a digital service company that connects workplaces and furthers the creativity of working people in its bid to bring about its 2036 vision of Fulfillment through Work. The Ricoh Group will do this by basing its efforts on a management vision that equally promotes corporate growth and ESG. The Report outlines the medium- to long-term value-building process needed to achieve this goal. It also presents examples of the key strategic processes and initiatives involved.

The 2022 edition, in particular, delves deeper into the corporate strategies of the Group's business units by showing the connections that originate with the planned value creation process and lead to a digital strategy that accelerates change and to the human resources strategy (investment in human resources) more clearly. It also describes the continuous efforts of the Company to upgrade governance, and it does so through interviews with and messages from outside directors, articles on board culture*, and more, in a comprehensive manner.

*
A culture that codifies the philosophy and principles that form the basis of the Board of Directors' and the directors' deliberations, decisions, and actions needed to improve corporate value.

Ricoh Group Circular Economy Report 2022

The Comet Circle™ vision was established in 1994 by the Ricoh Group as a concept for bringing about a circular economy. For nearly 30 years, the Group has based its endeavors on this vision, promoting the effective use of resources throughout the entire product lifecycle and the initiatives needed for bringing about a circular economy. Through such efforts and more, Ricoh has been transforming the recycling and reuse of products and parts into commercial ventures.

The Circular Economy Report issued in March 2022 was the first of its kind by a Japanese company. It is being re-issued as the Ricoh Group Circular Economy Report 2022 after updating it to reflect the Group's business performance in fiscal 2021. This updated Report outlines the different circular business opportunities that Ricoh is taking to plan its future. It presents them through the perspective of the challenges that Ricoh faced in turning those opportunities into commercial ventures as well as the many technologies and extensive know-how that Ricoh gained through these initiatives.

In addition to the three reports described above, Ricoh has released an ESG Data Book, which lists the Company's ESG initiatives as quantitative data since fiscal 2019.
