Notice Regarding Media Coverage on Ricoh

May 19, 2023: Ricoh Company, Ltd.

Several media outlets reported that Ricoh Company, Ltd. and Toshiba Tec Corporation will establish a new company to consolidate multifunction printer (MFP) production and development. However, Ricoh has not made any such announcement.

As part of our initiatives to grow as a digital services company, we are working to strengthen our manufacturing capabilities and are also exploring the possibility of integrating the development and production of MFPs and other devices with Toshiba Tec Corporation.

No such decision has been made at this time. This matter is scheduled to be discussed the meeting of the Board of Directors today. If any decisions are made regarding such matters, Ricoh will announce them in a timely manner.
