TOKYO, February 10, 2015—Ricoh today announced that RICOH Unified Communication System P3500 was awarded an iF Design Award 2015 by iF International Forum Design GmbH, a German company and one of the world's leaders in design promotion for industrial products.

The iF Design Award is a prestigious honor that has been presented by iF International Forum Design GmbH since 1953. Winning products are highly esteemed as demonstrating superior design that is recognized internationally. This year, 1,629 products out of 4,783　were selected from among five categories: "Product," "Communication," "Packaging," "Interior Architecture", and "Professional Concept."

RICOH Unified Communication System P3500 is a dedicated device for remote video conferencing based on the idea of "Communication and collaboration, anytime, anywhere, by anyone, with anyone". With an easy-to-use button layout and a simple access to destinations from the list after startup, this device can be operated straightforwardly. The wide angle camera with zoom functions can be used for various scenes, displaying all participants in a conference or projecting documents at hand by using the arm like a document camera.
