Protecting local indigenous biodiversity

Ricoh’s forest conservation activities - One Million Trees Project

The Ricoh Group has been actively working to conserve forests, believing that forest conservation is important not only for biodiversity conservation, but also for the prevention of global warming and sustainable community development. We are working to achieve our goal of planting one million forests, both to protect and to increase the number of forests. We also implement forest conservation activities in partnership with specialists such as environmental NGOs, as well as activities to conserve Satoyama in cooperation with various stakeholders, including local governments and local residents.
