Creating a Shortcut on the Home Screen (iOS 14 or later)

This procedure is explained using the application "Shortcuts" as an example.

The procedure may vary depending on the application in use.

1Tap [Shortcuts].

2Tap [] at the upper right corner of the screen.

3Tap [Add Action].

4Tap [App].

5Tap [RICOH Smart Device Connector] or [Connector].

6Tap [] to the right of [Login to MFP].

7Tap [Add to This Shortcut].

8Tap [Next].

9In [Shortcut Name], enter the name of the shortcut icon to be added to the Home screen, and then tap [Done].

10Tap [Select].

11Swipe [] at the bottom of the screen upwards, and then tap [Add to Home Screen].

12Tap [Add].

13Return to the Home screen, and confirm that the shortcut icon has been created.

Note

  • If Shortcuts has not been installed on the device, download it from the App Store.

    1. Access the App Store.

    2. Search for "Shortcuts".

    3. Follow the displayed instructions to download the application.

      After the download is complete, the application's icon will appear on the Home screen.
