Why did the earthquake impact increase from previous forecast? |

A major factor was an increase in shipments by air to resolve backorders due to the earthquake. |

Do you expect any financial impact from the flood in Thailand? |

A2. |
There was no damage to our factory in Thailand, because it is located on a hill in a district away from the area of flood damage. However, production was affected by a temporary parts supply shortage. We are investigating the full impact of this flood on the Group including indirect damage. |

How do you add value to PENTAX? |

PENTAX and Ricoh have complementary relationship with each other’s product lineups. So we believe that we will be able to expand business scale while getting rid of waste. |
