Compact & portable
You can now have flexible visual communication free of space constraints.
Easy-to-carry A4 size and weight of 1.6 kg or less.
Despite the built-in camera, microphone, speaker and wire/wireless LAN connection, the P3000's body is both compact and lightweight, at a A4 size and 1.6 kg (3.5 lb.) or less. In its special soft carrying case, it can be easily carried by anyone, and it can be set up almost anywhere. In addition, since it is only 40 mm (1.6" ) thick, it can be easily stored in desk cabinets. Unlike conventional Video conferencing / Web conferencing system, as a device for specialised use, the P3000's performance does not depending on PC specs.
Wireless LAN as a standard function. Connect anywhere.
Wireless LAN connection capability is provided as a standard function. As long as there is an AC power outlet, the P3000 can connect to the Internet and operate even if there is no LAN cable connection. Unlike conventional fixed-room videoconferencing systems, visual communication can be easily achieved anywhere, including vacant discussion space inside the office and locations outside the office.
Intuitive and simple operations
Just raise the camera and operate the P3000 with the buttons on the front. The interface brings together the necessary functions in an easy-to-use manner. Even people unfamiliar with PC operations can easily begin videoconferencing.
PC screen sharing by just connecting a USB cable.
PC screens can be shared with other parties with the simple operation of just connecting the P3000 and a PC via USB cable. Since the videoconference proceeds with all participants viewing the same screens, smooth and efficient communication is possible.
Tilt the camera to use it as a projection camera
The camera direction can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally. By facing the camera towards paper printouts, you can also use it as a projection camera, thereby sharing images of documents and other objects with everyone.
High image quality and a wide 94-degree field of view
Using optics technology developed at RICOH over many years, we have achieved a wide 94-degree field of view with a high resolution of 1.3 million pixels. (Ordinary videoconferencing systems are 65 to 70 degrees.) This enables visual communication with the feeling of actually facing each other.
