Enable the authentication by Bluetooth in Quick Card Authentication.
Check that the administrator authentication is enabled before specifying this setting.
Log in to the machine as the machine administrator.
The procedure varies depending on the machine you are using.
Press [Home] () at the bottom of the screen in the center.
Press [Settings].
Press [System Settings].
Press [Network/Interface] [External Interface Software Settings].
Press [Bluetooth Software Settings] and select [Bluetooth Authentication Plugin] from the list next to Bluetooth.
Check that the [Active] check box under Authentication is selected, and then press [OK].
Press [OK].
Press [Home] ().
Press [].
Press [Connector] on the [APPS] tab.
Press [], select the [Allow Bluetooth Connection] check box, and then press [Exit].
Press [Home] ().
Press [].
Press [Quick Card Authentication Config.].
Press [User Authentication].
Follow the instruction on the screen to turn off the main power of the machine, and then turn it back on.
When the machine restarts, Quick Card Authentication is enabled. The screen is ready to read a smart device.

Press the [Home] key or [Home] () at the bottom of the screen in the center.
Press [User Tools] or [Settings].
Press [Screen Features] or [Screen Features Settings].
Press [WIRELESS & NETWORKS].
Press [Bluetooth].
Select [On] in [Bluetooth].
Press the [Home] key or [Home] () at the bottom of the screen in the center.
Press [].
Press the [Quick Card Authentication Config.] icon.
Confirm that [Use Authentication] is selected.
When you change the setting from [Do not Use Authentication] to [Use Authentication], a message prompting you to restart the machine appears. If this is the case, follow the instruction on the screen to turn the main power of the machine off, and then turn it on again.
Press [Bluetooth Settings].
Press [Bluetooth Software], and select [Bluetooth Authentication Plugin].
Restart the machine.
The modified setting will be applied when the machine is restarted.
