[Question] What is the backlight compensation function?
You can use the backlight compensation function in Easy shooting mode.
This feature is useful when the main subject looks too dark in stuaitons such as shooting a dark subject against a bright background.
At the time of purchase, [Backlight Comp] is assigned to the Fn (Function) button in Easy shooting mode. You can therefore toggle the backlight compensation function on and off during shooting by pressing the Fn button.

Press the Fn button to turn backlight compensation on. The symbol appears on the screen.
Pressing the Fn button again turns backlight compensation off.
