[Question] Let me know the Noise Reduction function.


Noise reduction function is switchable in the menu.
When you take a picture in some conditions that tends to appear noise, such as in a dark place, or with long exposure, you can activate the noise reduction function if you need.
See the camera user guide, page 116 for the details on the Noise reduction setting.

[Note]
  • This function is not available in the Scene mode.
  • If you take a picture in the RAW mode, this function will not work for a DNG file, it only applies a JPEG file recorded with the DNG file.
  • The Noise reduction setting saves even after turning off the camera until you change the setting.
