[Question] How can I set the date setting of a camera?


Follow the instruction below.
  1. Press the [Menu/OK] button. The shooting setting menu or the Playback menu appears.
  2. Press the right-arrow button to go to the Setup menu.
  3. Press the down-arrow button to go to [DATE SETTINGS], then press the right-arrow button.
  4. Press either of arrow buttoms to set the year, month, date, and time.
  5. In [FORMAT], choose a format of date and time.
  6. Press [Menu/OK] button to set the date and time.

[Note]
The date and time settings will be lost after removing batteries from a camera for one week or more.
In such a case, you have to set date and time again.
In order to retain the date and time settings in a camera, load batteries (fully charged) in a camera for more than two hours.
