[Question] Is imprinting the date on images available ?

Yes.
There is the Date Imprinting option that allows to insert the date at the lower right of a still image. You can choose the date (YY/MM/DD) or date and time (YY/MM/DD hh:mm).

The setting operations are as follows.

1 Turn the mode dial to the a shooting mode.
Press the [MENU] button. The shooting menu will be displayed.
Press the [MENU] button to display the Shooting menu.
2 Push the [ADJ./OK] button Up or down to choose [Date Imprint], and push Right (Flash).

Choose [Date Imprint] option.

3 Push the [ADJ./OK] buttonUp or downto choose an option.

ADJ.OK button

4 Push the [ADJ./OK] button to confirm the setting.
The [DATE] symbol will appear on the screen.

[Note]
  • •Make the date and time settings in advance.
About the Date and time setting operations.
  • •[Date Imprint] cannot be used with movies.
  • •The date imprinted in an image cannot be deleted.
