Supplement for Windows XP Installation Guide

Download the software from the following:

Save the file to a folder, not 'Desktop'.

Please make sure that the file downloaded was *** extracted (unzipped) *** before installation.

- WinXP will show the contents of a zipped file, even though the file has not been unzipped.
- After the setup (.exe) file is extracted, run it.
  It will request that you re-boot the computer.
- After rebooting, with the camera connected by usb and turned on,
  Windows will detect its presence and start the 'hardware installation wizard'.
- Please direct windows to the folder where the file was extracted
  (or select 'install automatically').
- Windows will do this process twice (normally takes up to a minute).
  After the 2nd hardware detection is complete, open 'My Computer' and confirm that 2 drives have been added.
- These drives represent the 'Internal and Card' memory in the camera.
- At this point, you can copy/move or paste the images to the folder of your choice.


* Please be aware that the use of a 'card reader' is the easiest way to download images
   from the memory card to your computer.
