How did we fit a powerful 4.8x (28mm-135mm) optical zoom lens inside a 25mm slim camera? With our ingenious Retracting LENS System, which swings part of the lens group like a pendulum inside the camera when the lens retracts. As a result, the Caplio R1V is about 26% slimmer than cameras with conventional lens systems. To maximize the image capturing power of the 5.0-megapixel CCD, four highly refractive, low-dispersion glass lenses are incorporated. |
