FAQ for DVD/CD Media

EncryptEase

QUESTION
Can I make a copy of the disc?

ANSWER

No, copying the disc is not possible, except with several softwares.
Even the disc has been fully copied, data cannot be read.

EncryptEase uses the unique Ricoh Hybrid disc copy guard function, which does 'not allow the copied data to be read', ensuring a high level of security and thus maintains high compatibility.

Ricoh's new technology includes a 'physical key' in the data, which cannot be copied under any circumstance. Before accessing the data, the program checks the 'Physical Key' and its authenticity. If the key is identified as 'False', the operation will stop and protect the data from being read. Even if the disc has been fully copied, the data cannot be read.
