QUESTION

DVD-R disc recorded on DVD recorder can only be played on the same recorder. It cannot be recognized by other devices.

ANSWER

Please check if DVD-R disc is finalized. It can be checked by inserting the disc into the recorder. Please also refer to the manual of the DVD recorder.

To play the disc on a device which was not used to record, the disc needs to be finalized on the recorder used to record.

If the disc that has been finalized cannot be recognized by other devices, the device might not support DVD-R media.
