QUESTION
I cannot write on 8x DVD-R disc by 8x speed.

ANSWER
The drive needs to support DVD-R 8x writing, in order to write by 8x speed. Also, upgrade of the firmware or update of the writing software might be required. For details, please contact your drive manufacturer or the writing software vender.

* Firmware is a program which controls the drive stored in the Flash ROM of your drive. Firmware has the necessary information to optimize the writing on DVD disc.
