Free iPhone App: Whiteboard Share with Evernote
— Share Whiteboard Information in a Smart and Easy Way —
Whiteboard Share is a free iPhone app allows users to easily capture and share whiteboard discussions. Ricoh Innovations, Ricoh’s R&D subsidiary in Silicon Valley, California released the Whiteboard Share app in March 2010 and it has already been downloaded over 45,000 times. A new version of the Whiteboard Share app has been released in October 2010 with Evernote support and zoom-in capability.
Whiteboard Share app removes the unwanted artifacts from the whiteboard images captured by your iPhone or iPod touch, making them easier to read, share and print. It also reports the approximate percentage of savings in toner usage compared with printing the original images, which helps you be green. The app is very easy to use and requires no registration. To capture a whiteboard discussion, just snap a picture of the whiteboard and choose the contacts you would like to share it with. In the email, they will receive the original image you captured, as well as a clean version where the background is white, the text is more readable, and the glare is gone. Whiteboard Share also supports direct upload of your whiteboard images to Evernote. You can easily select your Evernote notebook and tag your images for easy access later on.
