Social Contribution & Communication

Through the promotion of communication in good faith, we are making efforts to expand the network of environmental conservation, and to enhance awareness of being a global citizen.

Forest Ecosystem Conservation

We are promoting forest ecosystem conservation projects at many places all over the world in partnership with environmental NPOs and local communities.

Environmental Volunteer

For the conservation of the global environment, we believe it is important for each staff member to carry out activities spontaneously inside and outside the company, maintaining an awareness of being a global citizen. Based on this belief, we have started the Environmental Volunteer Leader Development Program since 1999 as a part of our staff training.

Activities in Japan

Presentation of our major activities including conservation and cleaning up of wooded areas, etc.

Activities Outside Japan

Presentation of our activities in Uruguay, Costa Rica, the Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia

Environmental Communication

We are not only promoting environmental conservation activities but is also actively disclosing information about actual examples of our activities to internal and external stakeholders.
Through a variety of communication activities, we are making our environmental philosophy and the details of its environmental activities known to many people. In this way, we hope to expand the network of environmental conservation activities.

Disclosure of information through the activities such as the publication of reports, publication of the web site and advertisements, participating in exhibitions, etc.

Building Awareness in Children

Support for environmental activities by children, including support for contests for elementary, junior high, and high school students, etc.

Green Partnership

We regard all parties involved in the global business activities of the Ricoh Group as green partners and are working together with them to promote effective and ongoing environmental conservation.

We are conducting education and awareness building activities for our employees so that they may grow as "global citizens," "employees of the Ricoh Group," and "specialists in promoting sustainable environmental management."
