Ricoh Asia Pacific Donates Benches Made of Recycled Materials

On March 24, Ricoh Asia Pacific (RA) donated to Singapore’s Green Volunteers Network (GVN) two benches made from materials recycled from collected used toner cartridges.

The benches were given in celebration of the opening of the Green House eco-center, which was built on Singapore’s Palau Ubin island under GVN sponsorship.

GVN is a member organization of the Singapore Environment Council. RA is working in partnership with GVN to implement a variety of environmental conservation activities.

Notable among these activities is the support that has, since last year, been provided to the “Eco Visit” program on Palau Ubin island, which is noted for its unspoiled natural setting. In this program, Singaporean children are brought to the island to participate in educational activities concerning environmental conservation.
