Ricoh Asia Pacific received Eco-Office (Green Office) award by SEC
Ricoh Asia Pacific is the first company to receive green office label awarded by SEC (Singapore Environment Council) in Dec 2004. During the audit, the auditor is impressed especially with Ricoh's very positive attitude and enthusiasm towards environmental and the following practices:
- A comprehensive list of environmental management programs
- Awareness training for new staff
- Purchasing practices -- Avoid to use paper cup/plate and discarding chopsticks etc.
- Information disclosing -- Monthly paper/energy saving report to all staff
Project Eco-office is a joint initiative between Singapore Environment Council
(SEC) and City Developments Limited (CDL) and was launched on 5th June 2002 to
mark World Environment Day. |
