Ricoh Environmental School Art Competition was held

As part of Ricoh Australia continuing support of environmental education within Australian school system. 6 sustainable Schools were invited to participate in the 2004 Ricoh Environmental School Art Competition. Every one of the 28 students, who are aged 8,9 and 10 were asked to illustrate or describe their ideas about caring for our environment. They had a great opportunity to see their concepts and ideas used in such a large creative format and to feel empowered about getting this important message across. The Schools Art Competition was held in conjunction with the Manly Vale Public School community environmental art exhibition themed "The Year of the Build Environment". Ricoh sponsored this competition and donated the prize money.
Ricoh Australia is proud to sponsor this program, which affords the children a creative outlet to express their thoughts and concerns about "Our earth, Our tomorrow".
