Some known incompatibilities in PC systems

* IBM 300GL, PL, XL Windows NT 4.0 Workstation
* IBM Aptiva E-21/31 series, E-17/27/47 series
* Compaq DESKPRO 6450

IBM 300GL, PL, XL Windows NT 4.0 Workstation

Under the PC abovementioned, there may be a occasion it will not be able to format with a packet writing software.
This could depend on the HD controller driver, you will have to change the HD controller installed to the Standard HD controller provided from the OS.

IBM Aptiva E-21/31 series, E-17/27/47 series

Under the PC abovementioned and pre-installed the Windows 95;
It was reported the drive will not work.

For writing: With additional information reported, it got to run the writing software properly after new installing to the Widows 98.

For DVD playback: Under the PC has a chipset from SiS, we will not have any guarantee of playback a DVD video even after new installing to the Windows 98.

Compaq DESKPRO 6450

Under the PC abovementioned and pre-installed a utilities program, 'Compaq Utilities'; it was reported the writing software will not run just after installed the one.
On the case you may have to try reinstalling only the Windows OS without any utilities above.
