About the firmware upgrade

When you upgrade the firmware for MP6200S and MP6201S, there are limitations of system environment. |

Supported Adaptec SCSI Card AHA-1510, 152x, 2940 and 3940 only possible. |
For Windows3.1x, MS-DOS.(Windows95, MS-DOS prompt of Windows95 and Macintosh are not supported.)

There needs Adaptec 16 bits ASPI manager. (ASPIxDOS.SYS) |

We have some restrictions on the system environment when the firmware of MP6200S and MP6211S are upgraded with Macintosh.

It is confirmed that the following MacOS could be upgraded; 7.5.3, 7.6.0, 7.6.3, 8.0, 8.1
* The other MacOS may not be upgraded except for the above. |

The upgrade file is compressed by "Aladdin Stuffit". So please use "Aladdin Stuffit" and melt the down-load file. If you do not, it may not be successful in upgrading. |
