Our Policy for Support and Service for OEM products sold in markets in Asia and Oceania:
FOR the 5000, 7000, 8000 and 9000 SERIES:
All Ricoh branded DVD/CD drives shipped from Ricoh Japan are named RICOH MPXXXX and have the RICOH LOGO on the front panel. An OEM product that has another model name on the front panel or a retail package put together by a company other than RICOH would be supported by the OEM company just like they support their own products.
If your unit is from an OEM company, we are afraid we will not be able to provide any support or service for OEM products, even though the unit may have been manufactured by Ricoh Japan.
For further assistace with OEM products, please contact your OEM company. The appropriate contact information for the company will be found in the retail package, documents, manuals, or on the warranty card. If you cannot find it please ask about the OEM company at the shop or retailer where you purchased your product.
FOR the MP6000 SERIES:
The OEM products in the MP6000 series each have OEM company's name on the retail package.
If your unit is from an OEM company, we are afraid we will not be able to provide any support or service for OEM products, even though the unit may have been manufactured by Ricoh Japan.
