DVD+RW/+R Playback Compatibility
Provided here is DVD playback compatibility information for DVD+RW, DVD+R and DVD+R Double Layer media recorded using a Ricoh brand DVD drive.
Ricoh Company has carried out compatibility tests on DVD drives and players that are commercially available in the Japanese market. In these tests, data was written to Ricoh DVD+RW/+R/+R Double Layer discs using a Ricoh drive and the DVD authoring software bundled with Ricoh Company's retail drives, and then read or played back on a single DVD drive or player of the models listed.
The following lists display the results of those tests, indicating the drives and players that successfully read/played back the data. Appearance of a drive or player on these lists does not constitute a guarantee of compatibility.
Furthermore, please be aware that changes in specifications, etc., can affect playback compatibility. These lists are based solely on the results of tests performed by Ricoh, using its own testing methods. However, they do not constitute a recommendation of any kind of the drives and players that appear on the lists, nor do they imply a relationship of any kind between Ricoh and the manufacturers of these drives and players.
