DirectCD UDF packet-writing software (Windows 95/98/NT)
With DirectCD UDF(Unversal Disk Format) software, you can write files to CD-RW or CD-R media directly from an application or within the Windows environment. This software allows the MP7040 drive to be used as a removable storage device. In addition, CD-RW discs written by DirectCD can be read by CD-ROM*1 drives.

• *1For this a device driver distributed by Adaptec must be installed. It can be downloaded from the Adaptec Web site. The drive must be a MultiRead compatible CD-ROM.
