Ricoh Sales Co., Ltd. collects plastic bottle caps for recycling, an initiative named "eco-cap activities," which was developed at business sites. Sales of such caps are used to buy vaccines for children in developing nations. Shiga Ricoh Co., Ltd., a sales subsidiary, collects plastic bottle caps to offer them to institutions helping people with disabilities to work. Collected caps are cleaned and made into chips.
