Ricoh Thailand awards schools for their environmental education programs

Eco School is a program to educate students about environmental conservation and then extend what they have learned to surrounding communities. It was created and funded by Ricoh Thailand Ltd. (RTH) in cooperation with the Prawet District Office and Department of Environmental Quality Promotion, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. Ten schools were evaluated on their implementation of the program, out of which five were recognized for excellent performance. In a ceremony held at the Dusit Princess Hotel, Bangkok, on March 15, awards were handed out by Ratchanee A-maruji, deputy director, Department of Environmental Quality Promotion, and Somchai Chatsakulpen, director of the Prawet District Office, Department of Environmental Quality Promotion.
