Ricoh combined several associated offices that had previously resided in different buildings in the old Aoyama Headquarters, the Ginza office, and other offices in the Ginza district and moved them into a new building recently completed in Ginza 8-chome. The building is designed to provide "office spaces for the next generation," incorporating environment-friendliness and cutting-edge workflows, and present our corporate values for customers with some examples. The building is also equipped with the newest office security amenities, including central management of room access through a new ID card system.

Founded in 1992, Ricoh University provides in depth technical and sales instructions to Ricoh dealers and employees.
A recent innovation of the University is a computer-based sales education course, Elements of Success, wherein specific skill areas within the sales cycle are introduced with each module in the CD-ROM program consisting of a skill and application section, a demonstration section, a practice section and a concluding quiz. Call planning aids and reference tools are also included which provide sales reps with additional information to support each skill introduced.

The Knowledge Center carries Ricoh's value proposition messages to end-user customers and decision makers in seminar settings. Expert staff help to increase Ricoh's name recognition in the IT community with a very focused message.
In addition, the Center hosts Technology Portals which are state of the technology showcases where sales representatives can bring customers to see how their applications could be managed in a most efficient manner from the departmental level to the enterprise.
