We will further strengthen our core Imaging and Solutions, and we will expand business by utilizing Ricoh’s strengths in Industrial Products and other business categories.
Ricoh offers an array of imaging equipment for office use, such as MFPs and printers, and other hardware in the area of Imaging and Solutions. Ricoh also provides complete solutions that range from supplying software and consumables through constructing and supporting information technology environments to managing networks and providing user support.
Unified Communication Systems
We manufacture and market thermal media, as well as optical equipment, semiconductors, and electrical components. For this area of industrial products, we can make full use of the image-processing and optical technologies we have garnered while developing MFPs and cameras in anticipation of customer needs.
We supply digital cameras, 360° cameras and watches while offering financial and logistics services through subsidiaries.
We will apply a professional perspective, based on experience accumulated Group-wide over more than 20 years in the use of 3D printers for product design and technologies for prototyping and molding to support innovation in manufacturing at customer sites.
As part of this effort, we opened facilities—RICOH Rapid Fab—as hubs for innovation that will handle 3D printer sales and provide output services and consulting services.
We established the RICOH Eco Business Development Center with the aim of creating and expanding new businesses based on environmental sustainability.
The Center plays three key roles:
We seek to achieve around 100 billion yen in sales from environmentally-related businesses by fiscal 2020 to realize environmentally friendly management practices that evolve with our customers.
Ricoh contributes to the development and growth of local communities by providing solutions and services that support new community building efforts. As part of this initiative, Ricoh opened the RICOH Future House, a communication complex in Ebina, Kanagawa Prefecture. This facility holds hands-on experience classes to encourage elementary and junior high school students to become interested in science, utilizing Ricoh’s technologies and know-how. We help foster the scientists and engineers of tomorrow who will drive manufacturing industries forward.
We provide medical institutions with printing systems and document solutions, our core businesses. In April 2016, we took over the magnetoencephalography* business from Yokogawa Electric Corporation and made a full-scale entry into the healthcare business.
