USB 2.0 Support


Using USB2.0 High Speed Interface, the RY5U870-VU001/VW001 can transfer uncompressed data in VGA size at 30fps. Moreover, adopting Isochronous transfer method, this module makes possible real-time transfer of image data.

USB Video Class Support


The RY5U870-VU001, compliant with Video Class 1.1 in USB Device Class, can be used with Microsoft native driver. Also, the RY5U870-VW001 can be used regardless of Operating Systems, with RICOH original capture driver.

Saving Space Module


The RY5U870-VU001/ VW001, adopting RICOH USB2.0 Video Interface Controller R5U870, is compact in size (7x66x5 mm). Therefore, this module is ideal for space-conscious devices such as compact notebook PCs.

Low Power Consumption


Due to the originally developed hardware design, power consumption during Suspend mode has been significantly reduced.
