The R5U231 is a multi-function PCI Express controller that integrates 5 PCI Express functions (1-lane PCI Express to an IEEE1394, 2-slot SD/MMC, a Memory Stick and an xD Picture Card) into a single chip.
The R5U231 supports most Flash Memory Cards currently in the market, and the R5U231 allows flexibility for system designers to configure systems to interface with multiple Flash Memory Cards. The R5U231 offers the low power consumption at the low power state. |
