Basic Policy

Recognizing the importance of the global environment, Electronic Devices Company puts great emphasis on environmental protection in our business operations of providing the products based on the “Ricoh General Principles on the Environment” and the “Ricoh Environmental Action Plan”.

Action Guideline

1. Complying with laws and regulations as a matter of course, we dutifully fulfill our environmental responsibilities, setting targets that go ahead of those that society currently requires, and by achieving these, create economic values.

3. IIn regards to our daily activities, each employee will practice environmental conservation and promote continuous improvement on pollution prevention, effective utilization of energy and natural resources while being aware of the environmental impact.
4. To provide our products and services, we spare no effort to reduce environmental effects in all stages from procurement, manufacturing, sale, and to usage.
5. We at Ricoh wish each employee to be attentive to broader range of social issues and mindful of enhancing environmental awareness through proactive learning processes, designed to commit the employees to environmental conservation activities according to his or her responsibility.
6. By participating in and supporting environmental conservation activities, we will contribute to creating a sustainable society.
7. We will expand its environmental conservation activities with communities. In addition, we will fully communicate and proactively cooperate with communities to reassure our dependability and commitment to the environment.


This Environmental Policy is made available to all employees and to the general public.
